Kintu & Florence

Welcome to:

Bright Future Orphanage
Home & School

My Testimoney

I David Kintu was born from a poor family with religious beliefs and traditional African beliefs rooted in polygamous,  idol worship and alcohol.

Went to school and dropped out of school due to lack school fees as my parents were poor, and step mothers couldn’t allow money to be spent on a step son.

I also got addicted to alcohol and become failure in life, hated my parents and didn’t want to go home to my parents at all wished them death I hated my life to desiring death. in 1998 is when God had mercy on me and sent an evangelist I can’t remember his name, shared with me about the love of God in Christ Jesus, I was very drunk but I could understand a few words he shared with me and I welcomed the gospel, he asked me some questions to see if I could accept Jesus Christ in my life, I responded positively but I was very drunk. The evangelist made arrangements to come to my house in the morning and make me confess when I am sober, I agreed with what he said and the next day early morning at 08 : 00am he came to my house where I was living with Florence my lovely wife.

We accepted Jesus Christ as personal Lord and saviour of our lives together. He lead us in the confessions and he took us to the nearby church and handed us to the pastor and church to start fellowship.

In 2000 after i had got saved i started receiving prophetic messages from men of God telling that God is calling me into pastoral ministry, I was shy and I could not believe them but God continued affirming it to me as He was calling into pastoral ministry and that i should plant a church and serve him

I start as a church interpreter in 2001, become an associate pastor in 2002 and my pastor took me for a Bible training, I did a diploma in Christian ministry in 3 years and came back to my local church to serve with my pastor in the same church. And the Holy spirit told me to move away from my pastor and the church where were serving and go to the next town and start a ministry and start serving Him.

I share with Florence my wife and my pastor to, they all accepted me to go and serve my God who was calling me serve Him. I came with Florence to Kibaale town, prayed and fasted for 3 weeks we got a place for rent, we started a church in 2006, Christian Prayer Center church, we kept on praying and listening from the Holy Spirit, who spoke to us about the Orphans as man families were being affected and infected by HIV / AIDS Pandemic in our community, leaving many children orphans and vulnerable, we were so much touched with my wife Florence and the Holy Spirit convicted us to do something about it , we prayed for it and fasted and started Bright Future children care center, as we had no ability to run an orphanage home.

Thankful for what God has Done

We thank God that since we started in 2006, we have walked by faith and God is there for us up to now. The church we have no longer to pay rent but we have bought a piece of land 30 by 50 feet and build on a temporary structure of church where we fellowship.
And our church has people trained in discipleship and we have other branch churches planted and opened up and doing well in Jesus name!
Bright Future orphanage home and schools has also bought land 60 by 320 feet to establish on it permanent premises with very simple structures (based on wood). We Holding a school on it running from Nursery to primary school. We are helping our orphans and vulnerable children to get access to quality education. In this school we have 6 trained teachers working including my wife Florence Kintu.
We Kintu David and Florence Kintu have bought a piece of land 30 by 50 feet where we have built our house to enable us to stay around with the church, and orphans and school work.
And we have built 4 rooms for the orphans to stay in. Over the year from 2017 up to now we took 28 orphans into our house living with us. They are now between 6 and 14 years old.
